Careers · Mirox, LDA · Lisbon

We are not hiring.
We are still listening.

Mirox is a small founder-led team building an Amazon PPC product the cohort can audit, line by line. We do not have open roles posted. We do read every email that lands in careers — and the right introduction tends to outlast the right listing.

How we work

Open roles · 2026 Q2

Zero, today.

We deliberately keep the team small while the founding cohort runs. The next planned hires are a senior backend engineer with multi-tenant SaaS experience and a full-stack engineer comfortable in React, TypeScript and a touch of design — both planned for late 2026 once the first three case studies are signed.

If you would be the obvious answer to one of those briefs once we open them, we would rather meet you now and reopen the conversation when the door does. The first introduction is more useful than the first listing.

How we work

Five things we hold to.

01

Calm advisor, not coach.

We do not motivate. We do not cheer. We say the thing the room is afraid to say, in plain language, with the data to back it. Inside the team and outside it.

02

Show your work.

Every claim we make publicly is auditable. Every decision the product makes leaves a trace. The same standard applies inside — your reasoning is the artefact, not the conclusion.

03

EU-native is a feature, not a tax.

GDPR alignment is the architecture we already preferred. We hire and host in the EU on purpose. Per-marketplace, per-language, per-currency — first-class, not bolted on.

04

Ship the thing that earns trust.

Shadow Mode before Live. Seven safety layers before the eighth feature. Trust is the bottleneck on this market — every release is judged by whether it widens or narrows that pipe.

05

No theatre.

No interview puzzles disconnected from the work. No engineered urgency. No PIPs. We hire slowly, treat each other like adults, and act like the company is going to outlive us.

The stack

What you would actually be working on.

  • Backend

Python 3.12, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL 16, Docker. Managed VPS in Lisbon (Hostinger).

  • Frontend

Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind v4, TanStack Query, ECharts.

  • AI / ML

Bayesian conversion-rate priors that are category-aware. Asymmetric semantic embeddings — product copy and search queries are read as the different kinds of text they are. Sixteen specialised agents, each with its own decision logic.

  • Quality

472+ integration tests. Multi-tenant isolation verified. Row-level security in PostgreSQL.

The shape

Working at Mirox in 2026.

  • ·Remote-first across the EU. Lisbon is the legal home; we do not require relocation.
  • ·One async standup per day. One synchronous review per week. No daily 9am video meeting.
  • ·Founder-led product, founder-led code review. No layer of management between you and the decision.
  • ·Four-week paid leave minimum, plus your country's public holidays. We expect you to take all of it.
  • ·Salary bands are written down. Equity is real, vested over four years, with a one-year cliff.
  • ·We hire engineers, not roles. The first nine months will look nothing like the next nine.
How to introduce yourself

Write the email you would want to receive.

A paragraph or two. Concretely:

  • 1What you have built that you are proud of — link, please. Code, a product, a pull request, a paper. Whatever you would point to first.
  • 2Where Mirox is doing something you disagree with — or doing something you would do differently. We learn more from the second paragraph than the first.
  • 3What you are looking for that we might be able to offer. If we cannot, we will tell you, and we will mean it.
